AWE named Best Trade Supplier at CEDIA Awards 2015

AWE celebrated its seventh CEDIA Award win to date as it claimed top prize in the category Best Trade Supplier at the prestigious awards ceremony on Friday 3rd July 2015 at the Natural History Museum, London.

The esteemed award for Best Trade Supplier is voted for by installers to recognise and reward the CEDIA member company who has consistently provided the best service to installers throughout the year.

Voters were asked to consider the standards of service, support, product innovations and the training provided by CEDIA Trade Suppliers in weighing up their decision. In the past year, AWE has invested both time and money in improving its standard of service. The launch of its Smart Home Academy™, which was also highly commended, and its new HQ facility, which includes a state-of-the-art showroom and Dolby Atmos cinema, stand out as two key initiatives. This supports several new distribution deals, including Epson, HEOS™ By Denon and Sync Box.

The prestigious accolade was presented to AWE’s Managing Director, Stuart Tickle, by Author, TV Presenter and Comedian, Danny Wallace, in front of a sell-out audience of over 400 industry peers.

“We are delighted to have been voted as Best Trade Supplier in the CEDIA Awards” says Stuart Tickle, Managing Director at AWE. “It is an incredible achievement to help mark our 80th year in business and we will continue to serve our customers and suppliers with the quality support and service that has honoured us this award. The AWE team and I would like to extend our sincere gratitude and thanks to everyone who voted for us this year.”

Marking its 80th year in business, 2015 has already proved a standout year for AWE which received another industry accolade earlier this month at the Smart Building Awards. For the second year in a row, AWE achieved top place in the category Best Distributor. Judges from an independent panel praised AWE for its “commitment to the wider AV industry” and its “continued focus on its changing needs”.
